We collect and hold a range of personal information in connection with carrying out our business and functions as a legal services provider. The kinds of personal information we collect and hold about you will depend upon the nature of our relationship with you.
To the extent that it is relevant to the work we are undertaking for a client or our general relationship with a client, we may also collect and hold personal information about clients that is sensitive information under the Privacy Act (for example, health information, membership of associations, religious beliefs or criminal records).

The amount and type of information we collect from you when you use our website or contact us online will depend upon your use of the facilities and services available. If you are a client or have provided contact details we may send emails about legal developments and our services. We may use an email management system that inserts tracking codes to understand delivery, opening and link-clicking. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting our Privacy Officer.
We may disclose personal information to external service providers located overseas (including the USA and England) for services such as marketing and data storage. If you apply for employment and have lived or worked overseas, we may disclose information to overseas recipients to assess your application. Apart from these cases, we are generally not likely to disclose personal information overseas, but it may be necessary depending on a client’s matter.
